Went to the appreciation dinner for the PYC volunteers at Max's yesterday. Cool! :) Sat with the tagalog speaking people - yay! Still felt lost though haha - ah... Vallejo youth and their hybrid culture... But most people were nice :) If only I could actually remember their names.. augh. I am not good at this... I:P We watched Hella Pinoy (a video) after - very funny > except that they should've just cut the last part - green jokes... I:P So far I'm still not settled (?) in Vallejo - I've been trying to just listen to people's conversations (sort of a study of people hehe)and understand the diff culture. It's sort of weird - i mean, I understand what they're saying but I also don't? Huh?
It's English - SURE - but the culture behind it is alien, you know?
Am still pretty creeped out by *** really - especially with his poem? heck. I dont know what to do... he's ok except for those occasional I dunno.. things. Eew..
I don't know why I'm still talking to him but what the heck. I'm trying to hook him up with other girls from pyc hahahaha
