Because you guys really want to read about my bitchiness. Not.
Would people please, please stop this insulting each other bullshit? It makes our government and our country look like a bunch of morons. Honestly, Republicans are not out to destroy America. Whenever they get together to discuss new policies, they don't sit down and go "how can we screw over the American people today?" And yes, lately, there have some stupid shit said by the Republicans that is just SO embarrassing ("forcible rape" anyone?), but, ugh, Democrats, grow up. Also, just because someone dislikes President Obama and his Obamacare doesn't make them racist. I always have a good hard laugh at the people in RL who say I'm a racist bitch for disliking him. Because, you know, I'M NOT WHITE. Not that you guys know that, you've never seen me before. Anyway.
Of course, this also goes both ways. Democrats are not unpatriotic or the devils or whatever, or "un-American" for their big government ideas. I personally dislike the idea of big government, but hey, to each his own. And just because are one political party doesn't mean you have to vote that way each time, or that you love everyone in that party. My point is, if you're going to argue for your political side, whatever it is, try to avoid the mud slinging, okay? It really just annoys me. Can we all just be mature about this?
Also, small note completely unrelated to this rant: not everything on ff.net sucks. Yes, because there is a lack of quality control, it takes time to find good stuff. But I have found some of the most awesome epics there that aren't posted anywhere else. You just have to be patient. Quit hating. And let some of the 14 year old brats over there get some time to get better. It's not like you were magically born with the writing skills you have now, right? Besides, some of those 14-16 year old kids write better than some of the 20+ year old people I know. Just stop dismissing ff.net as a whole, m'kay?
