Someone tell me why the computer keyboard layout isn't symmetrical! I'm trying to learn the proper way of typing for the first time (at the ripe age of 22) and it fucking sucks. You've got the home row which isn't so bad, except I can't remember the last time I ever used a semicolon, but that's ok. Once you get past the home row all hell breaks loose! The bottom row of letters looks nice, but the B key is right between your hands. Which hand are you supposed to hit it with? I guess someone flipped a coin and chose the left hand. Then there's the C and M keys. You're supposed to hit the C with your left middle finger, but the M key, which is in the same spot under the right hand, gets hit with the right index finger??! The whole top row of letters just needs to be scooched over a bit to the right. Why not just line the T and Y up with G and H?! Someone on IRC yesterday remarked that the Backspace key is in the wrong place, which I also agree with. It should be a bit....more handy (pardon the pun). Also, why are there 2 sets of numeral keys?! I say eliminate the numbers from the top row and replace them with keys that hardly get used, such as [ ] { } \ | etc. Just have the numpad. Whoever designed this needs to die!!
Also, why do they put those nutrition info charts on bottled water? All the values are zero, and the only ingredient on the list is water!
