Michael had been looking forward to dinner since they'd made plans on Sunday. He really should have signed up for Hopkins' cooking classes. Noodles and sandwiches and takeaway just weren't cutting it any more.
He milled aimlessly around the lifts waiting for Parvati, which garnered him more than one dirty look from the wizards and witches heading home for the day. Someone walked up right behind him, startling him. It was his dad, heading in to work when everyone else was leaving. "Oi, Dad! Can I order sunny weather for tomorrow?" Harvey Corner laughed and fought his way through the throng to get to the lifts.
