Carmilla and Harvey had told Angelina the day before that she should sleep a bit longer the following day. They said she didn't have to come in to work until around 9 a.m. Angelina, at first, had been incredibly grateful for the opportunity to rest, perhaps even sleep late; she'd even canceled her morning run.
But her evening of sleep had been fitful, full of troubled dreams. She'd even contemplated getting out of bed sometime around midnight, but she'd managed to fall back into sleep. Some good it did. What she wouldn't give for a good night's sleep.
Now it was time for work--nearly 8:45 a.m.--and Angelina made herself a cup of tea. She realised she'd left a window open in her living room. When she walked over to close it, there was a stack of letters on the floor. She groaned; she'd forgotten to go through the mail yesterday. Angelia leaned over, picked up the mail, and stacked it as neatly as possible on the coffee table. She'd go through it tonight.
Angelina finished her tea, put the cup in the sink, and she yawned just before she Apparated to the exterior of the shop. Somehow she imagined it was going to be a long day.
