Date: September 12th, 1999 Character(s): Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil Location: From Down Under to over there Status: Private Summary: Lavender sends greetings from her holiday. Completion: Complete
I'm so glad you're having fun. I'm sure his parents loved you, how could they not? Don't bring home any strange animals. I heard somewhere you aren't supposed to bring them across continents. But a crup sounds perfect.
You'll never guess where I am. Milan! Julius had to pull out of a fashion show, so here I am. It's unreal, Lav. I just got here, but so far the whole thing is amazing. Someone met me at the portkey, took my bags and escorted me to this amazing hotel. I have no idea how Julius pulled this off; it must have cost a fortune. I get to see one show tonight and two tomorrow, then meet with two of the designers to discuss carrying some pieces in the shop. I hope I get a sample or something.
Lavender gave the poor owl a treat when it returned from it's international adventure. It was more international than she'd thought, too. Milan? Lucky devil.
Of course, she decided, looking across to the bed where James was snoozing, she didn't really want to be anywhere else right now. Lavender folded up Parvati's letter and slipped it inside her make-up case so that she wouldn't misplace it. Barefoot, she padded across the bedroom to slip into bed again, her place still warm beside him.
No, she wasn't going to take a crup home with her, but there was clearly plenty of catch up to do when they were back at home.

Can't wait to see you when you get back.
Love,
Parvati
