Harry leant back in his desk chair, flipping the pages of his book at the corners. He was about through with reading for the evening; most of it, he thought he had pretty much down, in case Spencer decided to pop-quiz him tomorrow. Furthermore, he thought he could be spending his evening better on other things since he wasn't actually too tired to do anything today.
He checked the clock. It was about an hour since dinner, and he wondered what Hermione was up to. It was kind of nice being able to see her whenever he wanted to, but at the same time he liked to give her space. Still, they hadn't really spent much time together all week.
Plus, she seemed off today, like she had something on her mind, and he thought he had a good idea what was bothering her. This weekend would make it a year since Greyback had attacked her, and he couldn't help but wonder if she was having bad moments because of it.
He found her in the library, sitting in the window seat with Crookshanks in her lap. She wasn't reading, just sitting and looking out into the dark, and he crossed over to her, moving to sit behind her so that he could wrap his arms around her waist.
