Everything seemed to be set up. Hermione stopped by to check on George and then continued on to make sure that they hadn't forgotten anything. They had managed to secure a nice area of the park with enough room for all the guests to sit and talk and also space for dance if they wanted. Fortunately, Pansy had known people who could cater and set up a dance floor, since it probably would have taken her longer to locate that information. As it was, everything looked really good.

She met up with Pansy and smiled. "It looks like everything's ready. George is planning to work on different light shows throughout the night, but he'll not do anything to mess tonight up, so it should be interesting. Can you think of anything else before we go mingle?"

Pansy glanced down at her list of things that needed to be done the day of the party and shook her head. "I'll want to check on the caterers in a little bit, but for now they seem to be handling things just fine."

"It looks great so far," she said, smiling sincerely at Hermione.

"You two are amazing. Thank you so much," Neville said coming up to hug Hermione and Pansy, adding a kiss to the latter's cheek.

"Why don't you both relax? You can give me directions you know and I can follow them, even if I don't really know the first thing about organizing this sort of thing." Neville did take direction well.

"Alright. That's good. I'll be around if you need me for anything. I think the caterer said there would be someone assigned to cooking the meat, so we can probably get them started soon."

Neville joined them, and she smiled. "Happy birthday, Neville. Early, but still," she said as she hugged him. "Actually, I think we have everything in good order. You and Pansy can try out the dance floor, if you'd like. It needs a good testing." She smiled and winked at Pansy.

Pansy waved her hand. "No way, Neville. This is your birthday. Plus, that's what you hire people for. The caterer is more than capable of taking care of things."

Pansy wasn't sure what to make of Hermione's wink- that was certainly a new sign of affection from her. It was sweet, though, and rather humorous actually. She grinned and nudged Hermione in return. "I imagine there are plenty of gentlemen here who would like a spin on the floor with you too, Hermione."

"I know I'll want a dance later, Hermione," Neville said as she headed off.

"What do you think, Pansy? Should we dance or mingle?" He supposed they could always do both.

Pansy turned to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "That depends, I suppose. No one else is dancing yet, but I've never minded being a trend-setter. Then again, we can always go greet people and dance in a little bit." She pressed forward and kissed his lips lightly.

"Happy Birthday. This doesn't count as our celebration, just so you know."

"Let's mingle awhile. I want to say hello to people as they arrive. I've been working so much, I'm afraid people are thinking I've grown snobby," he chuckled. Neville knew that was the last thing he was.

"I want to dance later, though." He kissed her back lightly. This wasn't the place for a full on snog but a light kiss wasn't going to hurt anything.

"It doesn't? But you and Hermione worked really hard on this. I don't want you to think I expect more, especially not with the trip to Italy already booked." Neville looked at her suspiciously, "What sort of celebration?" He leaned in to whisper in her ear, "And does it involve naughty knickers?"

"Or just that you've been influenced by me," she said, partially in jest and partially serious.

"Oh, I don't know. Sneaky Slytherin Women and all that." Pansy didn't really have anything like sexy knickers planned, but Neville didn't need to know that. Her plans for them in Italy would blow him away, at least she hoped they would.
