Lisa had been glad to receive Anthony's owl suggesting they have dinner. She hadn't really talked to any of her friends in over a week, other than her housemates, and that was really only intermittent when they happened to catch one another. She'd felt sullen and antisocial, and she hated that, but she hadn't been able to force herself out. Between the letter Terry had written in response to her tentative attempt at contact and the conversation she'd had with her parents over the weekend, she just hadn't felt like talking.
But dinner actually sounded good. She knocked on Anthony's door at five minutes till seven, tapping her fingers idly on the bottle of wine she'd brought as she waited.
