Marcus walked down through Hogsmeade, glad he had finally finished for the day. He had spent the day sorting through broom making materials again. Today his boss had him sort through a large shipment of oak, finding the highest quality. Mr Best had five different categories for the quality.
In Marcus' opinion the man was mad. He could hardly tell the difference. Although that was probably why the job had taken him the entire day. He was sick of being told he wasn't doing things right. The man was pickier than . . . well, than anybody Marcus had ever met.
He was just glad he was meeting Adrian tonight. He needed a drink. His feet found their way to the Broomsticks and he sat down at the bar and ordered a bottle of Firewhiskey. He was going to surprise Adrian for once and actually pay for the drinks himself. At least that was one benefit to having a job.
