Kevin had been restless since he had come back from his dinner with Anthony on Diagon Alley. It had felt good to be catching up on him and he certainly wanted to repeat the experience. But for now, he was taking off the heavy charms he had set on his closet door and smiled as he opened it to reveal Tracey's gift.
It was wrapped in silvery paper with a green bow. Conventional and possibly a bit cliché but he didn't care much. Careful not to break the wrapping, he put it on his bed and went to his shelves.
He picked up the basket which contained small candles and various candies and chocolate and opened the door of his bedroom, looking around before stepping out and going straight to Tracey's bedroom. Hoping there weren't any huge hexes, he opened the door and after making sure she wasn't there, he went in and placed the basket on her bed.
Kevin bit his lower lip and blushed and he left the room. He closed the door behind him, and at this moment he felt very proud of himself. For once he had outsmarted a Slytherin. And that felt good.
