Penny looked up from the book she was taking notes from and pushed a few fallen strands of hair behind her ears. The day had gone quite well so far. She had been very nervous this morning when she turned up and Penny was sure she had forgotten everyone's names already. But now that she had been working for a while she had started to relax a little. It reminded her of being back in the library, working alongside Percy.
A little growl from her stomach reminded her that she had skipped breakfast yet again and Penny wondered if it would be ok to take a break about now. A cup of tea and a biscuit would be heavenly. She looked over to where her fellow researcher sat, Kevin. It had been nice to know someone already, even if he had been a few years below her at Hogwarts. She remembered him as being pretty quiet, in fact if it wasn't for the fact that she had been a prefect, Penny was pretty sure she wouldn't remember him at all. Maybe he'd be able to show her around a bit.
"Hi, Kevin," she called over to him. "Do you think it would be ok if I took a quick break?"
