The book club meeting had been interesting. Hermione was glad that it had gone well. It was the first public effort for The Association in a way that could possibly let them see how the Community Centre might be received. There had been a reasonable crowd and people had engaged in a lively discussion.

After the meeting was over, several people headed to the Leaky Cauldron. She followed along so she could congratulate Eloise before she went home. She hadn't had dinner yet, and she wanted time to see Harry before bed. Still, she had time to speak with Eloise before she left.

When she entered the pub, she walked over to Eloise and smiled. "Congratulations, Eloise. The meeting seemed to go very well."

Eloise smiled at Hermione. "Thanks, Hermione. I was pretty pleased, anyway. Did you enjoy yourself?" She had ordered a butterbeer and took a sip, pleased that she'd eaten thanks to Wayne before things had gotten started.

"You should be pleased. You did a fantastic job," she said honestly. "I was glad to see so many people turn out, too. Fleur will be happy to hear about your success."

She nodded. "It was enjoyable. I always appreciate a good discussion."

"Thank you," she said blushing. "I didn't do much. People had a good deal to say about the topic, which was really nice." Eloise hadn't been sure what to expect, and if people would have actually read the book or not.

"How are you, Hermione? We still need to try and set up our weekly lunches. I think we've both been too busy," she said sadly.

She rolled her eyes. "You organized it and planned it and managed to get it all to work, so there'll be none of that 'didn't do much' nonsense." She smiled. "Fleur isn't here to chastise you for that talk, so I'll take it upon myself to do so on her behalf."

"I'm doing well. Staying busy, which is both bad and good, depending on when you talk to me. Maybe we can do lunch next week. How are you? Relieved that your first meeting is over now?"

"No, I meant with the actual discussion. But thank you," she said, smiling slightly.

"Yes, very. I had no idea how it would go, so it's nice to be done with it and move on to thinking about the next one. Lunch next week would be perfect, too. Are you going to stay for a drink or bite to eat this evening?"

"You guided the discussion, Eloise," she said simply. If Eloise didn't want to accept that she'd been responsible for the successful meeting, then she wasn't going to insist on it.

"No, I'm going home. I just wanted to stop by to congratulate you on the meeting." She smiled. "I'll talk to you at work tomorrow, I'm sure, even if it's just a greeting in passing. Have a good night."

"Thank you for coming. I'll see you tomorrow," she said, smiling, and raised to give Hermione an awkward sort of hug, patting her back and sitting back down.
