After dinner, Lisa was feeling restless. Moody wasn't exactly the right word for it, because that seemed to imply she was in a bad mood. She was thoughtful without actually having any particular things running through her head. Typically she would go for a run, but tonight she was unusually tired. When neither reading nor any of her other usual activities didn't help, she'd decided to walk into town, enjoy the warm weather outside, even if it was still raining a bit.

As she strolled past Utopia, a little smile came to her face. The party had started off shaky for her, but it had ended well. The rest of the night had ended even better. Lisa shook her head and moved a hand over her mouth, hoping no one had seen her grin. When she looked around, she noticed a familiar figure lingering nearby, but not looking at her.

"Kevin!" she called, walking over to him. "What are you doing out here?"

Kevin looked towards the familiar voice, smiling at Lisa. "Hey, Lisa." he said waving. He wanted to answer something vague to her question but decided to avoid it all together. "How are you doing?"

"I'm all right," she said, shrugging. "I think I'm still a bit tired from last week and the weekend, but nothing I can't handle." She smiled. "What about you? I hope you had fun at the party. Didn't get to say goodbye to everyone, but it seemed like people enjoyed it."

Lisa glanced toward the Utopia's front door, then back at Kevin. "Were you going in? I could use somewhere dry to sit for a bit, if you wanted."

Kevin shifted uncomfortably on his feet, glancing at the door too. "I had a great time, Lisa really." he answered, nodding, his eyes still glued to the door. "But I'm not sure I should be going in.."

Kevin swallowed and left the booth, almost trembling at the mere suggestion of talking to Tracey right now. He gave Lisa a last look and bit his lower lip as he walked towards the same door Lisa was nodding him at.

The walk towards Utopia was not that long and part of him wished it had been taking more time. The other part told hi he should have apparated, but it was too late as he stepped in. He looked around and tried to spot his flatmate, finally finding near the bar. Kevin rushed over there, finally gathering up enough courage to do it. "Tracey, okay look" he said not even giving her the time to look angry, ask him to shut up or even go away. "I am sorry I asked for Saturday to be a date. I'm sorry I made it your call and I really, really loved dancing with you and bloody hell I'm so mad at myself for not speaking to you sooner, but I thought you were upset and-and I'm rambling and I'm so, so, so sorry.."

Tracey just stood there a moment, searching for words. A little disoriented, she turned and put down the empty glasses she'd been clearing and untied her apron. "I'm taking ten!" she called to the kitchen, where Rachel was starting a fresh pot of chili.

She turned back to Kevin, who suddenly seemed closer than he had been, and stopped short. Her mouth opened, but she still hadn't thought of anything to say, so she simply pointed to the door and walked toward it, hoping he'd follow.

She grabbed her umbrella from the rack. It had been raining earlier and really, getting caught in a downpour could only make this conversation worse.

"Let's walk."

Now that he had said everything that needed to be said, he found himself outside again and walking to have a talk again. He followed her outside and looked up, hoping it wouldn't rain.

Tracey led them down High Street, collecting her thoughts and trying her best to put them into words. Sentences, even. Merlin.

"Okay, so," she started, glad she didn't have to look him in the eye as they walked, "I've never dated before. Ever. And I know you haven't either, but I think I sort of...thought I knew how things went."

She nervously twirled her umbrella by its string and refused to look at him. "And I probably had Saturday night coming, because I've made a game of forcing you out of your comfort zone." Sighing, she clarified, "You're usually a good sport about things, and I completely overreacted. I mean, you were also a complete git to tell a girl she was going on a date a half hour beforehand."

She turned to him and smirked a little, "You're just lucky I had something to wear. Otherwise I might have really been a terror."
