It was silly to be nervous. It wasn't like there was any reason to be worried. Either people would show up or they wouldn't, so Wayne didn't know why he kept freaking out. There had been a few sign-ups for the class, after all, and he'd managed to get the five minimum that he needed to please Rosie. It wasn't like he cared how many others showed up, so long as he met that requirement.
It was mostly the idea of having to stand in front of everyone and explain what to do. He'd never really had to do that before, so he might turn out to be horrible at it. What kind of trainer could he be if he might freeze and be unable to speak? Course, he might be just fine with it all, but it was easier to think about what could go wrong instead.
The kitchen was ready for the lessons, at least. He'd had Lally help him get a few more ovens created, so there'd be plenty of space for everyone. They wouldn't last for ages, but he'd tried them and they worked fine for what he needed. Wouldn't be room for that many ovens on a normal basis, anyway. If more people showed up than had reserved places so far, he'd just double them up.
There was a counter with various veg and meat. For the first lesson, he'd decided to go for an old favorite that could be adapted in a variety of ways. If he ended up only being able to do the one lesson for whatever reason, at least the participants would know a good technique for a combination of possible meals. Along with the extra food, he'd also had to get extra utensils and supplies for people to use. He even thought about aprons, so people wouldn't have to worry about their clothes. If they didn't want to wear them, they could always cast a charm, though.
After another look around, he made sure that he hadn't forgotten anything. Now, all he had to do was wait for people to start arriving then class would start. Until then, he'd force himself to relax and stop pacing.
