"Get in here," Alicia said, throwing open the door at the sound of Katie's wailing. She took Fife from Katie's arms and set him on the floor to do who-knows-what, and then pulled Katie in and shut the door.

"Let me see," she said, and performed a few quick spells to fix her cheek. "This is something I've gotten better at since getting my job. Apparently seven and eight year olds are a bloody lot."

When she was all fixed up, Alicia gave her a tight hug. "Hi!"

Alicia was wonderful and Katie hugged her gratefully. "Thank you," she said. "And your blessed seven and eight year olds." She pulled back and handed Al the container of ice cream. "I give you chocolate in gratitude."

She glared at Fife who had settled on the sofa and was licking himself. Bastard.

"Do you need to get a carrier for him or something?" she asked in response to her thanks. "Ooh, chocolate." She accepted the container and went to find some spoons in the kitchen.

"I left Bingley in his pen for now since I'm not sure how they'll react to each other. It might be good for them to have a bit of a barrier," she said from the kitchen, and walked back out. "Sofa?"

"So, how have you been?"

"I think I really should. I used to have one, but I can't find it," Katie said with a sigh. I'll transfigure him a basket for the ride home."

"He got along with Bingley okay when I babysat him. Bingley just sorta hung out, though. He's a very chill bunny." She moved Fife to the floor when Alicia returned with spoons.

"I've been good; training really hard. How about you? Obviously the lil'uns haven't killed you yet."
