Michael thought maybe he had walked in just in time. He was tired of sandwiches too, but didn't want to spend the evening casting healing charms on Greg.

"Well, it seems to be hot, I think." Michael grinned and opened the cold box. He grabbed a flask of juice and poured them each one.

He flopped into a seat. "Merlin, I'm tired." He dropped his head onto the table.

"Guess so," Greg agreed with a little smile. He glanced at the clock. Ten minutes, apparently, and the noodles would be soft. "Hopefully this won't take too long. 'm hungry."

Greg took a glass of juice from Michael with a nod of thanks. "Me too," he commiserated. "Your day was as long as mine, then."

Michael glanced over at the pot. Greg seemed to have everything well in hand now. "I don't think noodles take very long to cook, so we should be ready to eat soon." He sighed. "Of course, that will require movement on my part, and I'm not sure I can be arsed right now."

He blinked at Greg. "Oh, Merlin, yes. I've been yelled at, dropped on my arse, embarrassed, but I knew it was all coming. Just kind of demeaning, you know?" He lifted his head long enough to take a drink. "'s better than hauling coffee, though."

"What; eating?" Greg smirked a bit. "Won't take as much moving as it's taking me to fix stuff," he joked. Michael really did look exhausted, though.

"'m glad I don't have to deal with some bloke yelling in my face," he said. "Guess they want to bring you all in line, or something? But I figure if you didn't want to be in line you wouldn't be there." He shrugged. "Me, I went into the field today, which was good for a change. Didn't really see anything and ended up with a horse dung on my shoes, besides."
