Dear Cho,
Thanks for writing. It's good to hear from you! I'm sure I've seen you around the castle here and there but never have really had the time to even say hello, it's been so busy.
Anyway, I would love to catch up, so if you don't have a problem meeting at the Three Broomsticks on Monday night, I would be able to make it. Seven o'clock all right? Hope to see you then,
Michael figured he must be getting used to all the manual labor around the castle. For the first time in weeks he didn't feel bone tired when he went to bed that night. As he wasn't asleep the moment his head hit the pillow, he picked his book up off his--well, not his, he wasn't sure who's bed he was sleeping in--night stand to get some reading in before he went to sleep.
However, when he opened the book, a scrap of parchment fell out. It was a note Cho had sent him days ago. He'd been tired when he'd gotten it, so he'd tucked it inside the book, intending to write her back the next morning. Only he'd forgotten. Shite, she probably thought he was ignoring her. It was a good thing they weren't dating anymore. If they had he'd probably be in big trouble, but she couldn't hold this against him. Could she? Hell, he hoped not.
Hopping out of bed, he scrawled off a quick reply before throwing on some clothing and heading off to the owlery.
I'm glad to know you're keeping busy working around the castle and weren't purposely ignoring me. I would enjoy having lunch with you on Monday. How about the Three Broomsticks at half-past 12?
The Three Broomsticks at half past twelve it is. I can meet you in the Great Hall so we can walk to Hogsmeade together, if you'd like. Since we'll both be at the castle anyway.

Would Tuesday or Wednesday night work for you? I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now and I'm not sure I'll feel well enough Monday night.

Wednesday works fine for me - so, since that's today, I guess I'll see you tonight!
