This would probably be much easier to do with Katie around, Alicia thought as she browsed through some of the racks at Edna's. She didn't even know what bra size she was- although apparently Katie did. She used to be perfectly happy with her sports bras under everything until Katie bought her saucy underwear for her birthday.

But Alicia wasn't buying the underwear for some guy- she just liked them. And she had a bit extra in her paypacket for staying late a few times that week, so she decided to splurge. It was still a bit embarrassing- not that Alicia'd admit that she was embarrassed- to think of owling Katie for underwear shopping. Plus, after the week she had at work, extra hours and all, she didn't think she had quite the energy for Katie's energy level ( ... )

Lavender spotted someone waving and looked over, recognising Alicia Spinnet. It was funny how she seemed to be running into older Gryffindor girls when she was out shopping lately. First Angelina when she was looking for cookbooks and now Alicia.

She waved back, walking past a display of stockings. "Hi."

"Come for something like this?" Alicia asked, snickering a little as she waved the feathered bra she'd accidentally picked up. She sobered when she realized she didn't really know Lavender, and she could very well have come for something like that. She cleared her throat and put it back on the rack. She broke the ice; it'd be awkward not to say something now.

"How've you been, then?"

"Hmmm. Perhaps some other time?" Lavender said, trying very unsuccessfully not to giggle. The feathers were somewhat intriguing, but that wasn't really something you wore every day. No, lingerie like that was for... special occasions. "Not sure it's my colour, either."

She shrugged. "Um. Not too bad lately, I suppose. You?"
