Holding the door open, Greg frowned at the empty fridge. It wasn't totally empty, of course, but there wasn't a whole lot he could really do with some mustard, a partial head of lettuce, and half a jar of pickles. He closed the door and put aside any thoughts of sprawling out on the sofa with a sandwich.
He supposed with how busy his last two weeks at work had been it wasn't too surprising that he'd not had a chance to get to the market. He was only learning the ropes, but it was still a pretty packed schedule each day. Every day he came home with his head so full of weird population statistics and species classifications that he didn't really feel like cooking or shopping. Michael and Terry had just started their jobs, as well, so they were busy, too. Greg did a quick mental tally of the money he had on hand and decided that for today he could afford to buy a meal and then go to the market ... well, later, he guessed. He put his coat on and tossed some powder into the floo, calling for the Three Broomsticks.
The pub was pretty busy when he got there, and smelled great. Greg decided to eat at a table this time, taking a seat toward the back.
