The sound of the shower was driving Lee mad. George had barely spoken to him since Monday, and he was reaching his breaking point. He was worried. George had been going to sleep early, sometimes even before Lee was home from work. Lee hated that this potion that brought George dreamless nights was also letting him escape everything. It wasn't healthy.
He got up off the sofa, too anxious to relax, and went to the bathroom door, knocking loud enough to be heard.
"George? Can I come in?" He didn't wait for an answer before he opened the door.
Maybe ambushing him in the shower wasn't exactly fair, but he couldn't stand this anymore.
