RP: Painting the Professor

Carine being out of town and unable to hold their lesson had worked out well, Dean thought as he walked through the front gates of Hogwarts, painting supplies in hand. This had been an open morning for Professor McGonagall as well, and he thought his mentor would be rather pleased with how he'd chosen to spend his unexpected free time. It was a little strange to be walking into the school now that he was finished himself; though it was exactly the same as it had been two months ago, it somehow felt different.
Thankfully, his subject was waiting for him. "Good morning, Professor. Are you having a nice break?" he said, smiling brightly. Then he held up his handful of paintbrushes. "Are we painting in your classroom?"
