Draco had been pleased, upon arriving in the predesigned London park, to find Hermione looking stunning in wizarding formal robes. Although she had once or twice protested that cleaning up took far too much effort, she had done far more than had been called for in his letter, and he rightly believed that she looked beautiful, and had told her so. He, in turn, wore his bronze embroidered robes with the cobalt slash he'd recieved for his birthday and worn to the Autumn "Victory" Ball. They were by far his most stunning, and nobody here would have seen him wearing them before.

The portkey had been arranged since last week, a minor accomplishment, and Draco had made the other arrangements himself. The first of these was a carriage to pick them up from the arrival point and transport them to their destination, which had been waiting just as they arrived in a well manicured courtyard, and to which Draco moved, opening the door, pulling down the steps and offering Hermione his hand. The white Lippizaner stallion at the front of the carriage plunged its head, making the feathers on its brow band flutter like bird's wings, impatient to begin again, and Draco smiled around at Hermione.

When they were settled inside the carriage, Draco drew back the curtain on his side to reveal the night scene once more as they began to move. "Do you know where you are yet?" he asked, smiling. "We are heading up there," he pointed toward the towers. "That is the Rathaus, and this" he gestured, grandly, "Is the Austrian city of Vienna, famous for its Opera and its composers. Which is why I asked you to dress for the ocassion." He bit his lip, then added, "What do you think?"
