Characters: Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter

Status: Private
Summary: Draco is avoiding Diagon Alley, and he runs into an old enemy
Completion: Incomplete
It was worse today, he suspected, than it had been yesterday. He'd had to leave Diagon Alley simply because of the pressure of the glares pointed in his direction, so he'd gone to Hogsmeade, where at least the people were more used to seeing him around, and who's glances were at least only glances. He had no desire at all to get into the same situation he had been in almost a year ago...
Draco didn't really have a lot of shopping to do; he wanted to buy more than he needed to. There were plenty of replacement quills in the house, but he wanted one which was his, and that meant a special trip. If only Caesar hadn't taken offence to it when he'd been writing owls the other day, he'd still have it, but apparently the eagle feather quill had been quite rude to Caesar, who had attacked it, snapping it in half with his powerful beak.
He would go in, get a new quill and leave; really, he had no intention of spending longer around people than necessary until something was done about the Daily Prophet. It simply wouldn't do...
