Oliver was just finishing his Sunday fly when he spotted Angelina kicking off and soaring up into the sky above the park. Veering around, he flew towards her, waving.
"Hey stranger, fancy seeing you here," he grinned, flying alongside her. "Don't see you much anymore, sorry for that." Ang had always been a good friend and a fun bird, and Oliver regretted they were no longer as close as they had been.
Angelina saw Oliver waving at her. She grinned through the rain and waved back.
"Ollie!" she called out. "What are you doing out here in this terrible weather?" She punched him playfully in the arm. "Course I'm glad you are out here because it makes me look less nutters."
Angelina laughed. "If you're refering to Hogwarts and you as Captain...well, I've blocked it out." She winked at Oliver when he pretended to look offended.
"Did you care to fly for a bit out here or were you looking for a mate for tea now?"
Angelina chuckled and did a dive before pulling back up beside Oliver. "Oh, I'm just out for leisurely flying. Wanted to get outdoors for a while--even if the weather is wretched."
"I did have a fun time at the party. Was nice to get out and do a bit of dancing. What have you been up to lately?"
"Aye," he smiled, starting to fly is slow, wide circles.
"Not a lot, really. Sort of been keeping to myself, I guess," he shrugged. "Tried to not freak out at Katie after the whole accident thing."
He did a little flip in the air, happy to just relax on a broom for a change. "You? Never get together anymore. The old roommates, I mean. Maybe I'll have to host something."
"Any reason why you've been keeping to yourself?" she asked, hoping Oliver wasn't going to push them all away again and retreat into himself.
"If you can believe it, I was working when Katie got hurt. Didn't even know it for a few days until I had dinner with Roger and he told me. Merlin, I felt bad."
Angelina shoved a few stray hairs back from her face. "I'm mostly working. Been a out a few times recently with friends...dinner mostly. Just trying to get out of the house ocassionally or else I'll go mad."
She nodded. "You should. Host something. We could all get together and have a riot." She smiled at him.
"Well, you need to take a break now and then and invite people out to dinner or over to your flat to hang out," she said. "I'd come over. Get me out of my bedroom once in a while." She winked.
"I'm sure you're upset with Katie. Have you told her how you feel about it? Have you tried to talk with her?" Angelina couldn't tell if Oliver was mad at her for the broom malfunction or if he was mad at her for other reasons.
"Life above the shop is fine. Been thinking of looking for my own flat, but I don't know if I will or not."
"Oh, I've told her. It's fine, I just worry about all my mates, you know? It was stupid. Could of ruined any shot of trying out, and all for bloody Flint. But I guess it's her choice to do what she wants to do."
He shook his head. "Enough of that though. Sound like a bloody bird."
"Oh yeah? Well good for you Ang. You thinking about Diagon or Hogsmeade then? Or somewhere else?"
"Hey now," Angelina teased. "Not all birds are complainers." She flew closer to him.
"But I do suppose Katie could have ruined her chances, and Flint isn't worth half that. Man, I don't like the guy." She shrugged. "But everyone knows that."
"I haven't really nailed it down that specifically yet. Diagon would be nice because I work here, but it's not like it takes me that long to get to work, so Hogsmeade would work, too. One of these days I'll have a look around."
She looked at him. "How about you? You enjoying your flat?"
He laughed. "Not what I was saying, but you're right. You're not one to complain. I know that for sure."
"Yeah. Bloody stupid all around. Guess it's good that she's okay; that's what matters I suppose."
"Sure am. It's great to have my own space, though it doesn't lend to hanging out much. I have to try to find people, and Merlin knows when it comes to getting out and doing something or sitting around on my couch in my shorts, the choice is usually easy. I like to be lazy every now and again."
Angelina dropped to the ground and lifted her broom in one hand. The rain had let up slightly, but it was still a bit windy.
"Well, I'm usually free," she said with a grin. "When you feel like being unlazy, send me an owl. I'm always open for dinner--won't see me turning down food.
They wandered into Hogsmeade and ducked into a shop for tea. Once they were seated, Angelina felt considerably warmer, so she ordered a couple of scones for them, too.
"So, Ollie...how have you really been? How's work?"
"Hey stranger, fancy seeing you here," he grinned, flying alongside her. "Don't see you much anymore, sorry for that." Ang had always been a good friend and a fun bird, and Oliver regretted they were no longer as close as they had been.

"Already did my drills, but if you're just out for a leisurely fly then I'll join you."
"Didn't get to talk to you at Ron's birthday thing, but it was fun, yeah?

"Yeah? Well, she-" Oliver stopped, shaking his head. "Whatever, it's over."
"Still doing okay above the shop? George and Lee aren't driving you mad with their cuteness are they?" he smirked.

Oliver smiled. "On me," he nodded, throwing an arm around her shoulders and pulling her towards the village.
