Neville was quiet as they made their way outside with the others. Apparently people were expected to start leaving while the program scrolled at the end. He found it curious that they put the program into the show at the beginning and end instead of handing them out like they did that time Gran had taken him to the theatre to see a play. He supposed it was less trouble that way but it didn't really give you anything to take away to use to spark your memory. The two ends of the tickets were the only things he had.

He noted the dates in front of that African Queen portrait as they passed it by. It would be 'showing' at the end of the month. Neville thought he'd ask Pansy later once he knew he would have the time if she would like to come back and see it. When they were back out on the pavement again, Pansy thanked him. "You're welcome, Pansy," he said quietly. "You can explain it to me after she explains it to you. I really liked it. We should try it again sometime." He opened the umbrella against the drizzle and moved close to her again.

She grinned. "I will make a full report."

"Oh yes, that would be fabulous. This was wonderful, like reading a novel. Do you think all the pictures are that good? I gathered that one was older, or at least was supposed to be older."

"Did you want to explore some more? We could walk around, or get some tea at my place if you want," she said, biting her lip. "Unless you had something else in mind, of course."

Neville had to turn his attention back to Pansy. She was all keyed up and excited, which made it hard to keep up with her while his mind was working on other things. Not exactly on other things, he was focused on her but not on what she was saying. That part there at the end with Rick and Isla left Neville with a powerful urge to grab Pansy and kiss her until they were both quaking. Definitely not the sort of kissing a bloke needed to be doing on a seventh date.

"I was thinking it was like watching a play and reading a novel. You don't get that kind of scenery in a play, or at least not in the one I saw with Gran, but you don't get the characters thoughts like you do in a novel. I really liked it. It was exciting." She asked if he thought they were all good and he considered that. "Probably not, I think. Not all plays or all books are the same, so I don't think the... film -- that's what they're called I think -- the films would all be as good as each other either." Neville nodded, "Remember the German soldiers? The Nazis were in power back at the time of Grindelwald. I suppose it could be new and set back then, I get the feeling it's old though. Lots of people there seemed to have seen before. Did you hear some of them talking along with Rick when he was telling Sam to play the song after all? I liked that song," he hummed a bit of 'As Time Goes By'.

His arm was around her shoulder again and Neville rubbed his knuckles against her neck gently. "It's your birthday, love. What do you want to do? I left the whole afternoon and evening open to explore but that doesn't mean we have to." She looked at him with her lip between her teeth and Neville had to look away. He was already having trouble focusing on something other than kissing her, Pansy biting her lip only made it harder.

"Yes, I thought that sounded familiar, but it's not as if I have much experience with Muggle history."

She grinned as he hummed some of the song from the film, thinking that was rather adorable. He looked away from her though, and she wondered what it was she had done. "Oh, um," she looked to the ground, confused. What had she done that made him look upset?

"We can keep exploring, I'm not sure what we'd do back in Hogsmeade, anyway," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Maybe he didn't want to be alone with her, and staying out was preferable.
