Angelina pulled the bruschetta out of the oven and checked the time. George would be upstairs any minute--or at least he said he would. She stirred the pasta, fluffed the salad, and plated the bruschetta.
She set the table and couldn't decide if George would rather have butterbeer or pumpkin juice. So, she decided to wait and ask.
She stood back from the table and smiled. It looked good enough. Hopefully he would enjoy it, and if not, at least they were going to be able to sit down and have a conversation--something they hadn't done in a while.
