Finding Fancy
A Sort of Journal
Day 6 (well, technically 7)
Correction from yesterday: That regular from the shop (whose name is Jayce, I learned from Mr. Drinkwater) is not my type after all. He smokes cigars, likes The Haunting Harlots even though their latest release on the WWN is terrifyingly bad, and he actually interrupted me and changed the subject when I was discussing a particularly challenging bit of Transfiguration I'd perfected in revision. Guess looks aren't everything. Pity.
Only received one Valentine's Day owl today that wasn't from Dad, Beck or Dan, and it was from Terry. He gave me a sneakoscope, which was a nice surprise. Some chocolates, too, but I only ate one. I'd rather save some for my exam days. I was in a really good mood all afternoon, though I would have rather gone over to thank Terry in person rather than stay home revising Potions. Unfortunately, the one I was practising involved almost constant stirring for several hours. I sent him an owl instead.
Saw two blokes while I was out running this morning who were pretty attractive. I don't think they saw me, of course, but I had a pretty nice view of the blond one. He had a nice arse. That's not usually my sort of thing, but since I'm observing, there it is. The other one had nice hair, which is usually my sort of thing, but the style didn't quite look right on him. Would I date them? Well, based on looks alone, sure. But Jayce is proof that doesn't always pan out.
Oh!
Terry's written back. Nothing much else to record anyway. I need to reply and then be off to bed. Potions tomorrow.
PS - Sneakoscope's been quiet all day. I guess that's a good sign.
