Oliver set down his quill in frustration. The right words for inquiring about the future of Puddlemere were hard to come by- not only did he have a vested interest in what the owner might say, but knowing the definite plans for the club made him anxious. Soon, he'd have to make up his mind- stay in Hogsmeade and keep on working for the Ministry, or head back out with the team. The thought of not playing Quidditch was more disturbing then anything else, but Oliver couldn't quite wrap his mind around living that lifestyle again.
Standing up, he stretched, deciding now was as good a time as any for a lunch break. He headed quickly towards the lift, stopping to grab his cloak. Maybe a walk would clear his head some. He kept his head down, not wanting anyone to jump up and offer to join him. Several of the other staff members had taken to following him around, which he didn't really understand. They were above him in title, married, and older. Why in the bloody hell did they care what he ate?
The lift was crowded, so Oliver tucked himself into a corner, wishing he'd just taken the stairs. He bumped into someone, and turned to apologize when he spotted a familiar brown head of hair next to him. "Hermione, hullo."
