Terry had spent a long day of work in Ravenclaw Tower, and it was only at the urging of others that he'd even remembered to eat, taking a late dinner in the Great Hall.
After he'd eaten, Terry thought about what he might do with the rest of his evening. It was too late to begin working again until the morning, but too early to retire to the Slytherin dorms and go to sleep.
Then, a thought occurred to him: he'd seen Professor Sinistra working in Ravenclaw as well, and he hadn't really touched base with her since he'd returned. Since long before the battle, even. Well, she was his favorite teacher (and he thought that, at least, she didn't mind him too much), and it was high time to go see her, even if only for a few minutes.
Terry knew (with a sense of loss nearly as great as that he felt for Ravenclaw Tower) that the Astronomy Tower had also been destroyed in the battle, so he asked around to find out where Professor Sinistra might be staying. Learning that she was staying in Professor Vector's quarters (which seemed more likely, he thought, than on the bleachers of the quidditch pitch, as one person had told him), he left the Great Hall and headed that direction.
