Dear Ollivander,
It was such a relief to learn that you are still among us. I understand from the Weasleys that you are still recovering. While I do not wish to overburden you, I have a problem that I believe you are the person best suited to help me solve.
I have enclosed 7 wands that have been found since the battle at Hogwarts. My hope is that you can help me reunite the wands with the rightful owners, unless of course any of these belong to those taken in or wanted by the Ministry. In that case, I am sure Head Auror Robards would be happy to take custody. The two wands which are wrapped separately belong to two of the deceased whose bodies were returned to their muggle families for burial. Although I have a number of wandless volunteers in the castle, I felt these were best returned to you for distribution. I could no more decide which of the wandless deserve a wand more, than I could identify the owners of the others. Returning the wands to you in order that they might find the right witch or wizard seemed the thing to do. Please let me know if there is any service Hogwarts might perform for you in return.
