Katie'd managed not to slip on the walk over to Dean's. It would have been a more impressive feat if he hadn't lived next door, but she was still happy that she hadn't spilt cookies all over the sidewalk. She'd spent yesterday baking cookies and studying before heading up to the attic to work off the cookie dough she'd eaten. She'd made sure to make lots of them; knowing boys (knowing Gryffindor boys, particularly) those cookies would get eaten up faster than you could say "Quidditch".
She rang the bell, now used to the loud lion's roar it made, and waited for Dean to come down.
