Alicia swore under her breath, shaking the empty flask of potion and tossing it into the garbage. It was time for another trip to the apothecary, it seemed. The potions really helped during the day, and her symptoms were finally starting to go away- but she'd need one more bottle before she was better, it seemed. She concentrated and apparated to Diagon Alley, still in her work clothes and cloak, and made her way down the chilly street to Slugs & Jiggers.
Alicia wondered how she had ever survived the cold without these potions before, and if it would be against any wizarding laws to give some to her mum when she got sick. She wiped her nose on a hankie and opened the door to the warm apothecary. Maybe they'd have something menthol for her throat, too. She felt decidedly wimpy, nursing a cold this early into the winter season. Jane had said that it was common for the teachers to catch colds, as the kids were constantly carrying the germs even if they didn't have the outward symptoms of a cold. She'd given her the name of a great preventative potion, too, but it'd not do any good until this cold had run its course.
She wandered around in the warm shop, finding an interesting mentholated honey for tea, which looked perfect for her throat. The shop was mostly empty, so she took her time looking around before heading to the back shelves to pick up her potion.
