After shopping in Diagon Alley, Millie had headed to St Mungo's to work her shift. The shift was pretty uneventful thankfully but she was learning the ropes of the hospital so that was a good thing. By the time she left was mentally tired by physically very active. Once she apparated into Hogsmeade she couldn't bring herself to head home just yet.
She thought about going to the three broomsticks but that just wasn't appealing either. The night was clear and cool but she was bundled up in her winter cloak so a brisk walk was almost refreshing . The last thing she wanted to do was actually think about what was going on in her life, so Millie concentrated on how the snow sounded under her boots and how the shadows played on the winter shrubs.
How bad is this, I'm reflecting on nature of all thing. Maybe I should have my head examined.
