Aside from a bit of socializing at Blokes Night and Susan's get-together, Ernie hadn't spent much time on himself lately. His time had largely been devoted to schoolwork and his internship. It was Thursday and Ernie felt his head was about to explode from too much revision already this week, so instead of heading home after work, Ernie decided to Floo to the Three Broomsticks and have a pint.
He'd just brushed himself off and ordered a drink, when the thought crossed his mind that he'd like to play a round of billiards or even a game of darts - something that would take his mind off anything wholly academic or work-related. Ernie surveyed the pub, but aside from a few older wizards chatting in a corner, Madam Rosmerta's only other patron was a hag bent over a bowl of soup at the edge of the counter. It was still early yet and Ernie wondered if he might be able to convince Rosie herself to play a game if there wasn't too much business.
