Susan was finally ready. She threw down the last two serviettes, then stepped back to look over the table. There was a vase with flowers, plates for everyone, glasses, cutlery. It was a masterpiece, considering she'd had to scrape together every last bit of money that she had to get enough to set the table with. It was a relief to have it all ready though, and that meant that people would be arriving soon, and she couldn't wait.
It was about time that they got all these people into the same room together. She hadn't seen the badgers back as a set almost since they'd left school. It was a shame... She slumped down on the sofa to wait, looking between the fire and the door as she waited for her friends, or for one of her housemates to show their faces.
