Draco felt a lot better in this set of clothes; the trousers were cut, but held up with a belt, and he wore a purple shirt, neatly tucked in, as the men always seemed to be wearing them in the still pictures of his books. The very top button of his shirt was undone, because Draco found that it was easier to breathe that way. Over that he wore a tunic coat, one that came down just past his knees, and was made out of a thick, woolen sort of fabric, with a satin lining. It was very warm inside of his coat. Muggle clothes, Draco decided, weren't too bad. At least they'd been made by a wizard, which meant that the pockets were bigger, and didn't show unpleasant bulges when you filled them with galleons - and speaking of money, it was still something he had to get the hang of ( ... )

Cormac started a bit when Draco came up to him. He'd been fascinated by a conversation between a Ministry Wizard and a very teary young Witch who he was quite certain was at least 30 years his junior.

"Hello Draco," he said, once he'd recovered, "well, I decided that since I couldn't have one at lunch, I'd have one before hand. Muggle restaurant and all." He finished his drink and placed the glass on the bar as he stood.

"Shall we?" He said, indicating the door that led to Muggle London.

"There's nothing wrong with drinking something that you enjoy; and it is my fault for being late, I'll admit." He looked over towards the door, hesitantly, then nodded.

"I can do this," he said, under his breath. It would be a challenge, but he could walk through Muggle London and sit still in a Muggle place and eat Muggle food.

Outside in the street, he had to catch his breath, though he couldn't help but glance down into the alleyway as they passed it. "So how far away is this place?" he asked, tentatively.

"You weren't too late. Besides, I got a chance to people-watch. It's always fun to do," Cormac said, shrugging off Draco's apology.

Draco seemed uncomfortable when they entered Muggle London. "It's not too far, maybe 15 minutes by foot," Cormac said, looking at Draco worriedly. "Listen, I could apparate us there, if you'd prefer. I don't mind."
