Neville decided he would splurge a bit for Halloween and have dinner at the Three Broomsticks. He considered going home first to see if Seamus or Dean were up for a meal but thought he'd take his chances and see if anyone he knew was about first.

He spotted Eloise sitting at a table alone and headed over. "Waiting for your date or are random blokes allowed to beg a seat?" he teased his friend.

She hadn't noticed Neville enter the pub, but lit up when she saw him standing above her.

Rolling her eyes, she smiled at him and put her book away. "I'll take my chances on the random bloke."

She leaned over to give him a hug as he sat, and pushed her basket of food towards him. "I can't finish this, go ahead. Shepard's Pie."

"How are you, Nev?"

"Dinner and a superior company, how lucky can a random bloke get?" he grinned. "You're too thin. You should eat," he pushed the basket back.

"I'm good. Helped with the pumpkins for Hogwarts Halloween Feast this afternoon. It was a little tiring, but working with Hagrid is always fun. How was reading to the kiddies? Do you do that every day or only some?" Neville couldn't remember if it was only some days that she read stories or not.

"Ah yes, consider yourself blessed," she smiled. She scoffed when he told her to eat more, but took another bite regardless. She wasn't too thin, but it would make him happy.

"Oh, that's terrific! The pumpkins were always divine, weren't they?" she grinned as the memory of her first Halloween at Hogwarts returned to her.

"It was good," she shrugged. "I do it most days, up to four now. A couple times on Tuesdays."

"How is work going?"
