Harry woke up later than normal on Sunday; it had been a long night, though not as bad as he'd thought it would be. The sound of someone running down the stairs pulled Hermione from her book. She waited a moment, listening as she looked at the page. When the steps came towards the library, she looked up and smiled when she saw Harry. His hair was still wet from his shower, and she wondered what time it was.

He reached down to scratch Crookshanks' flank, fidgeting slightly. "I could eat," he said, "but I think some air would be good right now. Maybe we can have breakfast afterward?"

"Really well. I was so tired that I can't even remember lying down."

When he reached down to scratch Crookshanks, she wondered why she had never noticed just how long his fingers were before she'd felt them against her hip while dancing at Katie's party. She held his hand a lot, knew it was bigger than hers, but it had never really been something she'd realized.

She blinked and nodded. "Why don't we go for a walk and get something to eat while we're out?" she suggested, meeting his gaze. "I feel brave today, for some reason, so we could walk a different way maybe."
