What a long weekend, Lisa thought as she left the shop and walked wearily down High Street. She’d spent most of it at work, and the rest revising, and tomorrow was the start of a new week of classes, and a new week’s worth of homework. Vicious cycle and all that rot.
It was late, but she was famished. And she knew there was nothing in the house - she’d have to remedy that with a stop at the market tomorrow after class. But she still had some reading left to do tonight for Charms tomorrow morning, and she knew she’d need to get a bite first if she was going to have the stores to get through it.
Besides, she’d been craving Rosmerta’s bangers and mash lately; nobody did them like her. A few doors down, she popped into the Three Broomsticks and took a seat at the bar. After ordering, she had a look about to see if anyone else was out on a Sunday evening.
