Happenstance, Hardship, Haziness...There. Shelby looked at the spot where Health and the Arithmetrical You was supposed to be. Instead it was a blank space. She scowled. Who on earth would be using it yet? It was a supplemental book, once she didn't even need, but she was looking to tie applications of Arithmancy to mental stress as an ongoing thread in her work. It would be helpful to know, so when she looked at potential career paths, she could accurately weigh her options. But now she was stymied, because the bloody book wasn't there.
Mood sufficiently soured, she decided to check and see who was taking some of their lunchtime in the library. She worked her way through to a back table, where sure enough, Mandy Brocklehurst was sitting, the book in front of her.
"May I please have that book?" She asked politely with no preamble. She just wanted to get it and take it back to the tower where she had set up a work station, already at work revising.
