"And how exactly do you plan to do that? You better start training if you plan to show me up because there is no way you are going to be better than me." Alicia smiled as she flicked a bit of her food at Angelina. Alicia might be friends with Ang but there was no denying her competitive nature.

"Seriously though, if you plan on being beater you are going to have to get some practice in. We wouldn't want you giving a bad name to Gryffindors everywhere. Friend or no, you play shit and you will hear about from me, endlessly."

"I run. Just not at the crack of dawn like some people." Angelina threw a piece of her pie right back at Alicia while rolling her eyes at the competetiveness gleaming in her eyes.

"No, Al, I was just going to go out on the pitch and expect to be a kick arse Beater just like that."

"When is the last time you went for a run? A bloody liar is what you are." Alicia laughed as Angelina made a face and flicked the piece of pie Angelina threw from the table.

"Well I can't say it's the best strategy but you always were a cocky one. Do you think Percy will come watch the games and wear a 'Go Angelina' shirt, or is he more of a sign kinda guy?"

Angelina scoffed. "Considering the look on his face when I left I'd say the only way you'll get him within a hundred feet of me would be if you stunned him and dragged him there."

She took care to cut a perfectly sized piece of pie and ate it slowly.

"It's alright though. I don't care either way."

"I could do that you know, doubt I'd even need to stun him. Of course I should do it on ground level, we wouldn't want Percy to be forced to throw anyone else off a tower."

Alicia took a sip of beer and wondered when the hell she became the friend to give advice about talking. karma sure had a way of kicking you in the ass.

"Of course you don't, because it's a well known fact that neither of us have emotions," Alicia said flatly. "He's Percy he probably freaks out whenever a girl touches him, you should talk to him, you might be surprised by what he says. If nothing else this whole ordeal is vast improvement over the time we thought you went off with Flint," Alicia said with a smirk throwing a bit of napkin at Angelina. "You know how much I hate talking about things but it might be worth it for you to talk to him. Not that I'll ever admit to saying of course."

"I'm glad we agree on this. No emotions. Not now. Not ever."

Her pint was suddenly almost empty. She wasn't sure how that had happened.

"Who are you and what did you do to Al?" She tossed the napkin back across the table. "Honestly I don't know what the hell to say about it. I mean... There is nothing to say. Is there?"

"Hell if I know, I don't talk, remember?"

Alicia pushed the rest of her food away and picked up her drink which was still half full. She swirled it around in the cup before taking a drink. As much as Angelina said it was just a snog there had to be more to it otherwise she would have just brushed it off. Percy didn't seem the type to jump into a snog, even if drunk.

"You're a Gryff Ang, grow some balls and go talk to him. If nothing else it will end this avoidance thing you two have going on. He's George's brother and practically lives in the office downstairs so you will need to work this out eventually. If it was just a snog move on, if not, well despite the constant teasing you will receive from me I really think you'd be cute together."

"Growing some balls. I'll add it to my to-do-list. And I'm not avoiding anything. And we would most definitely not be cute together. Ever."

"Yes, I can't imagine what would be cute about seeing uptight Percy and you together. Besides you two are just so different," Alicia said sarcastically. "I mean he cares about his friends and family and is overly protective and you are nothing like that. Oh and lets not forget the differences in your careers," Alicia said putting her hand to her forehead and speaking in an overly dramatic tone. "He is the King of the Quills and you are the Queen of Ink, you are just too different, it could never work. The rivalries alone are enough to tear you two apart."

Alicia laughed and took another drink. "Seriously Ang, grow a pair and soon. He's not the guy we thought he was in school, I mean, I'm pretty sure I've even heard him joke."

"I never thought I'd see the day you started giving me advice about blokes." Angelina mimicked Alicia's dramatic tone of voice and flopped down on the table, narrowly avoiding her plate. "My whole world is turned upside down. I don't know how to cope with this."

"Well Angelina, I think it's a known fact that I have had more experience with blokes. You finally return to the world of men and all for Percy. He should be honored," Alicia said laughing and clutching her glass to her chest.

She shouldn't tease Angelina, really she shouldn't. She should be supportive and understanding but it was Percy and it was just far too tempting. "Tell me, was it the manly way he put someone into a coma or was it the way he glares over his glasses that finally did you in?"

"Returned?" Angelina arched an eyebrow. "I'm not returning, I'm visiting. Big difference."

She looked down into her empty glass. She needed another one. She knew better than to expect Alicia to shut it. She had never given her a better opening in her life and she knew Al would make the most of it.

She glared at Alicia with all the strength she could muster. "Hold that thought. I need another pint," she said and got up. "And I hate you. Just so you know."

Alicia gave her most innocent expression as Angelina told her she hated her and began laughing as soon as she walked away. She watched as Angelina went up to buy another pint and took another sip of hers while she played with a frayed thread on her robes.

As Ang sat back down she still had a glare on her face. Alicia raised and eyebrow of her own as she looked at the girl. "You do realize that in no way could you ever hope to scare me. Although it would be much more effective if you had glasses, just look what it did for Percy, maybe I'll buy you a pair for you birthday."

Alicia grinned and decided to give Ang a break, for a little while anyways. There was only so much Ang would take before she got violent. "So I was thinking about training before Quidditch practice started. That Meghan girl said she would be, if you were interested."

"Sounds great. I need it. I have been running in the afternoons, actually," she smirked at Alicia's doubtful glance, "but I haven't flown much lately. Like twice in the last year. I don't want to help arrange this thing and come out looking like an arse once we get in the air. We should owl Meghan."
