RP: You Did What?

Summary: The day after the fight, Lavender tries to find out what provoked Seamus but ends up none the wiser. Then they go to bed. For a nap. Honest.

Having had lunch with Millicent and Padma - well, a large helping of chocolate cake, anyway - Lavender felt a little more at peace with the party plans. Now there was the case of the fight that had sent rumours around the school. Apparently Seamus had beaten up Theodore Nott pretty badly and got hurt himself.
What Lavender couldn't understand was what could possibly have provoked him. She made her way down the corridor towards the Hufflepuff common room, coming to halt when she could smell someone familiar. Footsteps sounded behind her a moment later and Lavender turned around. "Seamus?"
