Well, of course she did. It was a Quidditch shop and she was a Quidditch player. Not that she needed anything in the store, by any means. She had her broom, her servicing kit, and just about any other gadget and or article of clothing she could ever need or want as a player. Yet, in spite of that, here she was.
She wandered in, looking at all of the inventory in the nearly empty store- something she was grateful for, because if there was one place in the world that she got recognized and asked for autographs, it would be a Quidditch supply store. She noticed signs up advertising new brooms and forced herself to walk away- her Firebolt Omega was in amazing condition, if she did say so herself, and she did not need a new leisure broom- she had two of those as it was (although in all technicality, one was Kirley's).
Looking away from the brooms, she noticed that there only seemed to be one employee in the store- and she was currently behind the counter playing what seemed to be hacky-sack with a miniature Quaffle. Interested, Meghan wandered over.

As soon as the words left her mouth she realized who she was talking to. She was caught goofing off by a pro quidditch player, a female pro quidditch player. Damn. If her boss found out she was going to be fired, no questions asked.
“You’re Meghan right? I’m Alicia; I was there for the pick up game at Hogwarts the other day.”

Alicia watched as the other girl gestured towards the quaffle and with a smile she picked the toy back up.
"That was my dissent into madness. I swear you are the first customer I've had in a hour. I tried with the toy bludgers but the quaffles seem to have more bounce. I don't suppose you want to try?"

When Alicia offered a game of hacky-sack, Meghan was slightly dubious at first. She had never really played the game before, but she supposed that it couldn't hurt to try.
"Why not?" she said, grinning. "We'll see if my coordination still exists at all."

Alicia looked around the shop one more time to make sure there weren’t any other customers lurking about. Once she was positive there weren’t she came back from around the counter and hit the ball with the side of her foot flinging it into the air and then hitting it with her elbow sending it towards the other girl.

As Alicia sent the ball Meghan's way with her elbow, she managed to catch the side of it with her left shoulder, then hit it back up into the air with her right knee, sending it back to Alicia. Okay, she could get the hang of this. She started feeling a little more confident.

“You know what the best part about this is? I am getting paid! Granted it’s nothing compared to playing professional qudditch but I’ll take what I can get.” While Alicia was talking she noticed an opening and sent the hacky sack sailing.

She made it inside just in time to see Alicia playing Hacky Sack with a customer.
"Hey, Al, I know they say that you gotta do everything for your customers, but isn't this a bit much?"

Alicia kicked the ball over to Ang letting her into the circle. She watched intensely as the ball was bounced from person to person.
"You know Ang, this is the second time you in two days you've visited me at work. If I didn't know any better I would say you were missing me. Now Meghan, watch closely as Angelina here exhibits her indignant face."

Alicia smiled as the ball was put back into play. Playing hacky sack with the two girls brought her back to quidditch practices back at school and goofing off whenever Oliver went on a rant about a new play.
"Ignore her Meghan, she is obviously suffering from severe oxygen loss. Anybody will tell you I'm the approachable one."
Reply
"So, just how long have the two of you known each other, anyway?"

Alicia batted the ball back at her a little too hard and Angelina almost dropped it.
"You're a Ravenclaw, yeah? Do you know Penny? Percy's old girlfriend?"
Reply
"Now, as for this knowing Penny thing- love, I could tell you things about Ms. Penelope Clearwater that could make your hair curl," she informed them. "Though, I won't. She probably wouldn't be very happy if I did," she said, shaking her head. "Pity, too. Except for the fact that she knows stuff about me that's just as bad, and therefore would be able to retaliate immediately."
"We've been friends since our first year at school. Bonded over a mutual love an adoration for the sport," she said, gesturing around her, "and went from there. My only complaint is that she's a Falmouth fan."
