She arranged the flowers she'd bought in a vase on the round table and wondered, Am I being too fussy? She shrugged. George had never been to her flat, and for some reason, she wanted it to seem nice and cozy to him. He might not even notice the flowers. She chuckled and poured herself a mug of hot tea. He'd likely be there any minute.
