RP: It's Christmas time in the city.

Katie struggled to push the pram down the street. She'd filled it with parcels and strapped Hope to her chest in a Muggle carrier device someone had donated to St. Jerome's. She'd been given charge of Hope for the day and told to purchase all the presents for the children with the meager budget the Orphanage had. She didn't understand how she was supposed to accomplish all that sitting in Hope's room for 8 hours until the next volunteer relieved her; they couldn't afford owl order gifts. So she'd been given permission to take Hope out with her. Thankfully Hope was bundled up nice and warm and well distracted by the fairy lights. Katie hummed Christmas carols under her breath as they jostled their way through the crowd.
"Stephen wants something Quidditch-y," she said to Hope, pulling the pram over to check her list, "Well, definitely not a broom. And you can't get any decent equipment for 3 galleons, unless it's used. Do you think Stephen would mind something used?" She asked. Hope gurgled happily in response. "I don't either," she said and she moved the pram back out into the flow of traffic.
