RP: Museums and Memories

Apr 13, 2009 13:51

Date: Monday, November 13, 1999
Characters: Hermione Granger, George Weasley
Location: London
Status: Private
Summary: Hermione and George take a walk
Completion: Incomplete

It had been different to visit the Imperial War Museum with George than it had been visiting it with Draco. Of course, it had been many more months since the end of the war, so Hermione thought that probably helped. This time, she was able to study the exhibits and take in everything without feeling such suffocating emotions. There was still emotion, but she was able to handle it better.

George had been quiet since they left the museum. She could understand, since she didn't really feel like talking yet, either. After they left the grounds of the museum, she turned and started walking towards the Thames. It was a nice afternoon, though she did hate how early it got dark during winter. It felt like it should be time to sleep instead of too early for dinner. Of course, she couldn't really complain because the weather was pleasant. Considering that it was snowing in Hogsmeade today, she was glad that it was warm enough in London to take a walk to clear her head.

She glanced at George and smiled. "I thought we might walk to the river and enjoy the fresh air before we head home."
