Dear Son,
I grow weary trying to console your mother over the grief you have caused her since your unexpected move from Italy. Once a week is all she asks of you. One day a week, Son. All you have to do it come over for a civilised dinner. You are the only child not present, and your absence is like a hole too large to circumvent. This hole grows ever larger every week with the realisation that you are, in fact, conversing with your siblings, even spending time with them on occasion. Why then, are you not speaking to your mother? I have never known you to be so incredibly selfish before. Perhaps moving out on your own has been detrimental to your upbringing. I sincerely hope this isn't the case.
I expect you to be at dinner Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. sharp. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:30 p.m. It wouldn't do anyone any good if you neglected to show and aroused my anger further.
Regards
