Ron was settling into his new flat reasonably well. After Harry and Hermione left on Saturday, Eloise had come over to see how his move had gone. He'd made her tea and there had been a couple more kisses, which were very nice and hadn't even made him blush six shades of red. When he saw the official notices about the Autumn Ball, there was no question about whom he would invite; he just hoped she would want to go with him.
On his third morning in his new flat, as he was leaving for training, Ron sent an owl to Eloise.
Dear Eloise,
Have you seen the notices about the Autumn Ball? It's on October 14th this year. I'd be right chuffed if you went to the ball with me. Please say yes.
