George,

Another day, another owl. It might be better that you're not having to read all these, since I doubt they're the most exciting thing you've ever been sent. I have to admit that I'm sad, in a way, that it's taken you going to hospital for me to take the time to write. We all live in Britain now, but I think I see you lot less than I did when I lived in Egypt. I know that being married and being a father keeps me busy when I'm not at work, but that's no excuse, and the rest of you don't even have as many reasons as I do to be too busy to meet for a meal every month, much less write an owl.

How's the food? Do you feel like eating anything yet? I think there's something about hospitals that make your appetite disappear. I never wanted to eat when I was stuck there, at least. When you get out, I'll take you to this Indian restaurant in Muggle London that Ginny and I went to before. It was really good. You'd probably like the decorations, all bright colors and loud music.

Fleur and Gigi are doing well. Not much has changed since I wrote yesterday. I think that Gigi's going to eventually get annoyed with me as she gets older because I spend a lot of my free time just holding her and playing with her. I'll try not to be too overprotective, but she's so tiny and perfect that it's hard to not want to protect her from every bad thing in the world, even if I know that's not possible.

Fleur's getting ready to open that Cultural Centre that Magical Equality's been working on for months. Not sure when the grand opening will be, but it's reaching the final stages of the project. She's done such amazing work with all that. I'm glad that things are going well for it, and that she's happy with how it's been accepted by the world, in general.

I've got another class coming in soon, so I'd better wrap this up. You'll hear from me again tomorrow. Oh, I wanted to let you know that I got the wands from Greystone. They're safe for when you get out. Take care of yourself, little brother.

Love,
Bill

Little Brothers and Sister,

Sorry if a joint letter seems impersonal. I don't have a lot time before my next class, and I wanted to write you lot before I got distracted or forgot. I can't really remember the last time I've seen you all. Probably some family dinner, but the date escapes me.

Really? That's just bloody pathetic. We're all living in Britain now. There's just no excuse for weeks or months to pass without even an owl. I've noticed before but never really said anything, since I'm just as guilty, but now I'm taking steps because I'm the eldest and I have a right to be bossy. George is in hospital, and it's taken that to get me off my arse and trying to do something about this drifting thing that we all seem to be going through.

Family is important. Mum and Dad are young and healthy, so they'll be around for a lot longer, we hope, but we're brothers and sister. That's something that not everyone has, and here we are neglecting that bond or not really caring enough to even send an owl occasionally to check up on each other. Like I said, I'm just as guilty, so I'm not angry at anyone except maybe myself. We already lost Fred, nearly lost George, and I just don't want to lose anyone else, especially not due to drifting.

I suggest that we meet for lunch soon. Maybe a Sunday afternoon? Everyone should have the day off, I suppose. Until we can figure out a good day for scheduling that, though, maybe we can make more of an effort, even if it's just a short owl or a pint at the pub?

Fleur is doing well. The Cultural Centre is going to open soon, though no date has been set yet. Gigi is gorgeous and perfect and happy, but I'm sure she'd love to see her aunt and uncles sometime.

Ginny, are you working yet? Charlie, have you moved yet? Percy, are you working too hard? Ron, how's training going? It's bloody pathetic that I don't really have any answers to these questions. I'm sorry for letting things get this way, but maybe it's time for changing that.

Love,
Your Big Brother

Kingsley,

How're things at the Ministry this week? Keeping you busy?

I wanted to send a quick owl to thank you for what you did last week. You didn't have to come yourself, so it meant a lot that you did. I'm glad to know that you assigned the best people you have to the case, even if I'm not always patient enough to wait for information.

I owe you a steak and a pint. Soon?

Bill
